Hi, just was interested to hear if there are any electricians out there that HAVE NOT been subjected to a electric shock at some point during their work, if you have received electric shock/s, any stories to tell

Yes, at lunch i ate my sandwhiches, i was not electorcuted at all, funny thing was, the SAME thing happened the next day.

I´ve been asleep today was dreaming of car boot sales and i won i raffle for white or brown wylex 1 way mainboards i DID NOT have a electric shock and i and i and i remember 4 weeks ago sitting on a log at work thinking of cow´s i DID NOT have an electric shock either

Don't want to appear picky so early in my posting career (lol), but wikipedia says:

"The term electrocution can mean either:
* accidental death or suicide by electric shock
* deliberate execution by electric shock, usually involving an electric chair
The term is often used incorrectly to refer to a non-fatal event of electric shock."

So any stories will need a medium as well as a ouija board.....

Hmmm, I did not quite understand that either, even though we both live in Essex

Well I thought he was wanting some work and if he wants experience of house bashing he can come and lift carpets, floorboards and do some wall chasing for me anytime oh and crawling round cramped lofts as well.

You just reminded me why I moved to permanant industrial electrics 10 years ago

I live near Chelmsford, so if you are serious drop me an email, and ill give you some more details. I'm not after a full time job, just gap fillers here and there, so would prob be best suited to help out a one man band, pulling cables helping to test etc.

I dont mind doing the crap jobs or getting dirty, so long as im learning something, and boosting my knowledge.

Ive got 2360 (3 years) 2381, 2391, PAT testing, my own tools and test gear.
