Hi There,

Basically what I would like to know is if you can emulsion ontop of paint. When we first did our hallway, I painted dado rail and overlapped onto the walls, we then wallpapered the walls so this was not a problem. Now I would like to strip the wallpaper off and just emulsion the walls. Is this going to be a problem when I emulsion over the top of the paint which I overlapped previously?

Cheers,
Simon.

Yes, it can cause problems be it short, medium or long term. The reason is due to there being paste on the surface etc............
