Hi all, and a happy new year.
I have recently exposed a brick built wall in my kitchen and the wall is in quite good condition apart from the odd area where the old socket back boxes were raggled into the wall.
Originally I was going to remove the damaged bricks and replace with good ones, but now I am thinking that it might look quite quirky to have random bits of stone/sandstone in the damaged areas.
Has anyone on here gone with a similar finish? any pics?

My eldest daughters outlaws have done just that. I'm a fan , it looks really good.

Cool, it`s just an idea at the moment, but I remembered seeing it on a plastered wall with a random bit of sandstone sticking out and thought it looked very nice.
