fagor washing machine - ''circuit failure! call service''

anyone got experience of fagor? got one that is 3yrs - still under 5yr warranty. Turned power off tonight to replace spur (am an electician) and when re-energised circiut, washing machine displayed above notice. Tried pressing/holding lock-unlock button and spinning programme selector but no luck. Got school uniforms to wash tonight so quite needy.
