Hi,

Had some new patio doors fitted and I now have a circa 10mm gap approx 15mm deep between the new frames and existing screed. The blue perimeter foam can be seen beneath. What is the best product to fill this with? Is silicone acceptable or should a repair mortar be used? Cheers

I'd use something insulating, especially if the screed has UFH pipes in it (I'd go for more of a gap) then put the floor covering over it.

Highly unlikely anyone is going to arrive to your house and step the stiletto of their high heel right on the part that I'm proposing should be insulation, so it doesn't need to be anything that can bear considerable load
