Hadn't previously noticed this useful device in FireFox.

Asked whether the tabloid's support could decide the next General Election, Mr Brown replied: "No."

Asked the could the next Red text selected 'discontinuously'. In notter's editor, from quote above, using mouse with Ctrl key held down...

Works well on source (newspaper) web page.

I don't think IE8 or Opera10 have this facility, without some kind of 'add in'.

You may be in the States but most of us are in England.
English please, can't understand a word of your post.

Or am I the only thick one here?

Ahhh, I've got it now.

You can 'copy' text in what empip calls 'discontinuous' sections with the use of the Ctrl key. It works by use of the mouse and the Ctrl key ie You can highlight a word then press the Ctrl key and keep it pressed, now you can highlight whole sections or individual words, indeed, individual letters, in a section of text and then copy just the sections you want to copy. Quite useful that.
