I am in the process of insulating a none insulated 100 year old house. I have just built cavity walls and in filled them with sheets of 2" polystyrene. These sheets would be ideal to fix directly onto the ceilings except they are definitely not fire proof. Is there anything similar out there that is fire retardant?.
