Fix joist hangers into thermalite wall

The hangers are 3" into the wall, fixed into their slots with Fischer 2 part resin mortar! They'll come out when the house comes down.

Also, the hanger slots needed to be cut just above an existing mortar course so there's mortar directly below the new resin mortar hanger fixings (not that I think it would have made any difference if the slots had been mid-block).

If you were worried about nails moving the joist hangers then use screws

I'm putting T&G down on those new joists, to continue an existing 1st floor. Previously I used lost heads to secure T&G but might not on the new boards, that' s another post though. This one is concluded
