I have solid walls with 37.5mm insulation board (25mm + 12.5 plasterboard) attached to them.

What should I use to affix things to the walls with a strong hold, such as TV's, shelves etc...?

Thanks

Long screws (70mm+ depending on what's being fitted) and rawlplugs in the brickwork, not the plasterboard or insulation.

So that will be strong enough, even though there will be 35mm of screw around plasterboard and insulation... more actually, because of the bonding compound used to put up the boards.

Maybe I need even longer screws.

It's gonna be fairly difficult to get the rawl plugs into the brick work though isn't it.

I did say 70+ so yes longer if necessary. Drill the hole to the correct depth, start the screw in the rawlplug by a couple of turns then insert into the hole and tighten.
