I am fitting a new double glazed (118cm high and 89cm wide) window into a brick opening.

Can you please advise on the screw type and size I should use for this please.

I assume there is no need for rawl plugs.

Thanks in advance

Concrete screws are commonly used these days

bear in mind hole size is key, from memory I used to used 5.5mm or 6mm depending on the brick.

on modern houses the cavities are open at window reveals, so if you have your window set well back, you need to angle the screw hole a little to avoid being near the edge of the brick - edge facing cavity
