Fixings for Stramit/Straw Board

Hi all,

What fixings are best to use in horrible 60's strawboard, assuming I can't afford a resin fixing kit (70-odd quid :shock: )?

It's to put a small radiator back on the wall it came off before decorating. The rawlplugs used by the original fitters have (predictably) fallen out.

Will the chunky screw in ones like this fare any better? Will coating them with adhesive make any difference?
