hi please can someone help me, i have replaced the spring in the door and have replaced the interlock thing. after reading other similar problems i then checked the pcb module, on the far right side there is a little plastic thing with copper wire spun round it, now around this is a little black sut so im presuming that something has blown. do i replace the whole module or is there a chance that the wires that connect to the module could be damaged...i have no idea what im doing :? please please someone put me in the right direction

Ignore the soot it's nothing. Check motor brushes are not worn. If they are ok the Pcb needs changing. When the brushes wear down it causes a Pcb fault.

I did only change them just under two years ago. but will have a look at them. :)
If it is the pcb, do i only need to replace that? the wires wont be damaged, am trying to avoid further costs :? also the last time i used my machine before it broke, i did a towel wash and on the spin it really shook the machine....just in case that may have caused something. thanks Rocks. x
