I have a hotpoint WML 520 P Aquarius 6kg washing machine.
All of the indicator lights are flashing, the helpful manual say to turn on and off or call a professional.

ANyone know if its something simple....

Not sure if this will jog anyones minds. I now have the machine stripped down. it is not a blockage as all pipes have been checked. Aslo the machine pumps out the water fine.
It seems to start its cycle there is a pause I asumme for the water to heat and at the point it should start the drum rotating all that happens is these lights flash all at once.
Super wash/extra rinse/mini load/reduced creases and start pause.

Check the heater poss open curcuit.

Many thanks for giving me the answer.
Just got to that point my self now trying to get the little devil out.

I'm trying to get the element out I've got all the wire disconnected and have partially undone the nut to release the pressure.

It jst does not seem to want to come out is there any thing else I should be undoing or is it really that tough to get out?

Did you test it first , no point in replacing it if its not faulty. If u want to remove it the nut comes off they a sharp pull on terminals to remove , they are tough. U won't be able to put old one back in either. You Could also put boiling water into drum and tip it back to try and relax the seal on the heater.

Element was open curcuit have ordered one online so just wanted to get the old one whilst the kitchen was trashed.

I'll try the boiling water option.

Thanks.
