Ford ka suffering from the cold

Hi I have a ford ka 1999. Below my cd player there are 5 switches on a panel. Blower, fog light, rear window demister, aircon controls - none of theseare working! . rest of the car electrics is working fine. I've checked the fuses (the ones behind the fuse panel) and they all appear to be ok.
What can I check next? please help...

Do a visual check to see if the switches are properly connected to the
wiring loom?
