Front door - Yale cylinder lock with hex/allen screw

Hello all, I've changed barel locks with no issues in the past but this time I'm competely stuck

There seems to be a hex/allen key screw holding the cylinder in place and I'm concerned if I remove the screw and it drops inside the uPVC door and I lose it I wont be able to revert back in case for what ever reason the new replacement cylinder doesnt fit/work etc

I want to replace the cylinder as keys are proving difficult to get in from the outside
