Hi there
I have a 8 year old system that was fine until the begining of 2010.
The radiators wouldnt come on although i had hot water at the tap etc.
I tracked down a Sunvic SD2701 controller in the airing cupboard which when i pulled the lever to flush position brought back the radiators.I left it like that!
Recently i have noticed a clicking sound from the boiler in the utility and can see the green leds flashing as well and the boiler starting, running a bit and stopping just to start over again.I still have enough hot water for baths, showers etc but dont understand what the fault is.This morning i went to the airing cupboard and could hear clicking from the microswitches of the Sunvic unit. The wall thermostat and the main timer controller were not active so im suprised it was active. Also the boiler fires up any time even when the contoller is off/thermostat is below ambient room temperature!
Has one damaged the other or is this two faulty items?
Any guesses at cost parts and labour if i get a local engineer out?
within £100 guess is fine
Thanks,Andy.
