All of a sudden, whenever the toilet has not been flushed in a few hours, when it is flushed a "groaning" sound seems to come from the pipework leading towards the toilet.
Anyone get idea what this could be please?

Probably water hammer. Have you opened up your mains water supply lately ? if so, try turning it down. Failing that look at the float valve in the cistern when its happening, is it vibrating to the touch ? If so and the mains hasn't been opened up, change the float valve.
Frattonstation, near Byerly Rd......

I have not opened up the mains water supply lately. But will try and trun it down today too see if that makes any difference. The float valve seems fine with no vibration. Seems to be getting worse as time goes on! Yep I orginally lived in the Byerly Rd area ! :)

Opella ???
Bought from B&Q.

Can you suggest a good product and where i could buy it from??
