Groundfos Super Selectic UPS15-60

My pump is 15 yrs old and operates effectively, but it started making a fast clicking noise this morning. The clicking ceases when the speed is reduced to 1 or 2 (currently set to 3).

Any clues ?

Is it time for a new pump ?
