You would hope the installer has the common sense to make the by pass radiator one which is larger than that of tea tray and capable of discharging heat quick enough. But then again some installers have no common sense, you best ask this question to them........

Is the by pass radiator the one with the lock shields both sides? If so it's the one in my hallway which is about 3ft x 3ft...slightly bigger than a tea tray...hope this helps
