Help - VAILLANT VRC430 - Unavailable until end Jan 09

Hi All,

I’m on the process of having a new system installed on Tuesday 13th consisting of the following:

•VAILLANT ECOTEC PLUS 624 SYSTEM BOILER.
•VAILLANT CONTROLS: VR65, VRC430 AND VR10
•VAILLANT UNISTOR 210 UNVENTED CYLINDER

Unfortunately we have been unable to get hold of the VRC430 control anywhere in the country.I have personally contacted Vaillant and they reckon I won’t get hold of one until end of January 09.

Can anyone help?
Perhaps someone has one on the back of a Van somewhere...
I’m willing to pay double and collect it

I thought they aren't on sale in the UK yet so there won't be any.

Could get one sent over from Europe I suppose?

They have been on sale for a while here. I fitted some towards the end of last year.

Unfortunately Vaillant have had supply problems and anticipated demand totally incorrectly, so it is now correct that there are none available at present

Hi all,

Would I be able to carry on with the full installation without the VRC430 Weather compensator control)
and then install it when it becomes available ?!

yes you would. You could use a vrt360f in the interim period.

Outside sensor !

I'm still having some trouble programing the VRC400
the boiler still comes ON outside the programed times i don't get it?!
any help here would mostly appreciated

You're going to have problems when the boiler needs a service, as the condensate pipe is blocking the condensate trap that will need removing for cleaning

- The radiators still very warm outside the programed times:
Monday-Friday
H1 (22C) 5:30 - 6:30
H2 (20C) 17:30 - 18:00
H3 (20C) 18:30 - 21:00

SAT - SUN
H1 (22C) 5:30 - 6:30
H2 (20C) 17:30 - 21:00

- I'm still unsure about the "Heating curve" setting
(and many other settings...)

- Not sure about the "Holiday Mode" does it come back ON 24h from
the time set or at mid night of the following day (if set for one day (1)

Where the outside sensor went (on the left)!
Also the 22 gas pipe on the right... can this be left just like that exposed...
