Help wmf 740p trips the electric

Help every time i close the w/m door it trips the electric, but if i pull the plug of the motor the door will close with out tripping is it the interlock or motor?
Have checked brushes they are ok. Thanks Alan

Motor shorted out. Make sure your sitting down when u look at the prices.

Ok thanks. are you 100% the motor just i have read someware the neutral for the interlock comes from the motor?

Then the motor is dead short, live and neutral bang , unplug motor and it don't trip , unless you can get hold of a meggar to test for a short. You can always unplug heater and mains surpressor then plug motor in see if it trips.
