Hot point ultima fridge freezer

Hi guys work up this morning to alarm going off on freezer.

Screen is flashing -1 and it's beeping every 30seconds or so.
Fridge is also warmer than it should be.

I've pulled it out to look at rear.

Black pump/motor at the bottom is very hot but the whole mesh panel (heat exchanger?) is not warm at all.

It sounds louder than it did before

There are no signs of leakage of the gasses etc that I can see.

Does this sound like an easy fix or should I bin it and buy a new one. It's about 8 years old

I would always suggest trying a FULL defrost before binning a fridge or freezer also, if it has one,ensure the fan at the bottom is cleaned & running properly, but at 8 years old they aren't worth spending any money on.
