Hot water fault on Potterton Gold

I have Potterton Gold boiler with an intermittent hot water fault. The boiler is about 2 years old.

The hot water runs fine for about 7 days but then it runs cold. If I top up the water in the Ch system, the hot water comes back.

Obviously this is manageable but I have to drain the CH system to keep the pressure down. There was a leaking joint on the landing radiator which I corrected on Sunday.

Any ideas?

Are you saying that your pressure drops over 7 days? If yes, you have a leak somewhere, or poss your pressure relief valve is passing water to outside through the pipe in the wall.

No drop in pressure. It just turns cold.
