The on/off switch is continually flashing along with super wash and easy iron led. I believe that the PCB is at fault but apparently there are 2 on this machine and I don't know which one is faulty. Can anyone help please?

The fault is communication between cards. This could be either card or the wiring between the two. You could check continuity from each end of the wires.. they may run 5 to 5 4 to 4 etc or 1 to 5 2 to 4 etc. If that is good check the plugs aren't loose on the display / selector pcb.. if that fails I would replace the main pcb. Usually the software nreds to be loaded onto it. Call hotpoint 110 pound all in repair if under 10 years old.
