My washing machine fused when I went to use it one day. Changed the fuse in the plug and everything is working fine except the dryer doesn't heat up when on that cycle and I end up with soaking wet clothes. I have removed the lid(that was a task in itself)and tried to see if I could reset the paint blob thingy that someone else had mentioned but I can't see it or don't have it.Help??

Heating element gone. Post a photo of top heater box and I'll show u heater.

Sorry you probably need to keep it very basic here.Is this something I would find under the lid or at the back of the machine? Also I noticed some people have said that you need to remove your thermostat(the one with the green dot) and reset it by dropping it on the ground!Sounds dodgy but lots of people the button pops back out and then it works.can't find that either.

You won't find that it's for tumble dryers only. Check the heater on the top remove the lid. It's got 2 nuts on the heater plenty of posts on here about it.
