Hotpoint WDL520 help me :(

hey i'm new, just been having a google and it gave me this site.

I have a Hotpoint WDL520 - nearly 2 years old and I come home to find all the lights flashing and it's half full with water, it won't drain...I can't seem to find any info can someone PLEASE help me

Have you checked the filter if it's a washer it's under the kickstrip at the front. Washer dryer it's at the back remove rear white cover and undo the big black cup at the bottom of the drum.

Not all washing machines have a filter as I just discovered whilst reparing mine - we had to undo the pipe under the sink and the blockage was there!

check the drain pipe under the sink ours was blocked
