Hi guys hope someone can help me I'm a fully qualified slater / roughcaster and use to having all my matiral drop off for me with normally loads spare lol. I was measuring a wee job and drew kinda blank to how much granite dust to order the customers paying to get it delivered in bulk and don't want to order to much.

It's 50m2

Ratio : 4:1 scratch 5:1 topcoat 4:1 wetcast

And if my calculations are correct I've got
1 tonne of plastering sand / wash building sand

10 bags of cement (for the render)
I'll need extra for the wet cast

And granite I'm not sure ??? Please help

They way I was taught to mix my wet cast 4 granite dust 1 cement half a sand gives a fine finish

Never done it that way before! The aggregate we have always used is quarter granite for wet cast.
How do you apply it machine or hand? i would imagine it would be more a slurry dash.
Anyway maybe some of the other guys on here will be more informed
using your methods.

Good luck.
