how to turn hot water off

hello everyone,
can someone please tell me how to turn my hot water off. ie shut all hot water supply off. i have a an expansion tant in the loft as well as a tank for the hot water cylinder. please find an image below.

look at the pipe with the earth bonding on, the one near your programmer their should be a re gate valve half way up shut that then turn on a hot tap that will drain the pipe.

many thanks hi-spec plumbing heating. is it possible to have this gate valve in the loft. i say this because i cant see the gate valve from the room where the cylinder is.

yeah, find the cold water pipe which goes into the bottom of the hot water cylinder. As said, turn off the valve. This stops cold water being fed into the tank which stops hot water being forced out of the top.
