I initially had an Overheat L9 fault, I traced this to the pump not working. I replaced the pump and thought all was well, as the fault no longer appeared and the boiler operated. However, I now find that the Hot Water is ok and the Heating comes on but after a while the Burner Light (which should be continuous) starts flashing and doesn't stop. If Hot Water is called for again this works ok. When the Hot Water is turned off, Heating resumes with Burner Light constant, but only for a short while, when it starts flashing again.

Can anyone tell me the most likely fault, I've seen mention of gas mixture, blocked flow, diverter valve stuck or condenser trap blocked.

Many Thanks
