I have an Ignis AKL 829 (I think), and all of the markings for the timer, temperature and oven functionality have completely worn off.

I'm led to believe to fix this I'm going to need to replace the control panel. Is this the case?

If so, how easy is it for a novice DIYer to do, or is it a job for an expert?

Does anyone have a manual or photo of what the control panel looks like (so I could manually mark it back on)?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Get yourself an oven thermometer, put in oven wait for light to go off twice check temperature and mark facia, move control knob to next setting until you have as many as you want, this will be better than the original temp. settings.

Good luck

Colin

Thanks Colin.

I've seen the same thing recommended elsewhere, so am going to give it a go for now to see if it works.
