Thanks for your response. We have checked the filling hose and this is fine.
Checked waste pipe which is clear.
It is leaking where the filler pipe goes into a plastic housing on the left hand side.
My husband is a n electrician so has some paractical knowledge but we don't want to undo what we can't do up again, and do more damage.
This is the part of the machine that is leaking.
The water goes up the little pipe and then appears to leak from the bottom before it enters the machine.
Thanks for your interest.
Ok, so leaking where the black inlet hose attaches to the clear plastic filling loop.
Is that a turbine sensor I see immediately after the black hose? Is it turning?
Its either jammed and causing pressure to build and leaking at the joint or the joint has weakened and needs the retaining clip replacing with a jubilee clip. If the clip is the original these type cannot be reused once released.[/quote]
Yardie,
Thank you for your advice.
Got someone hopefully coming out this week.....
Could do without the cost of a new dishwasher.
Your input is much appreciated.
Jubilee clip about 50p at a hardware store, probably a 15mm-25mm should do it.
Should be easy enough to do yourself.
If theres a wheel (turbine sensor) you will see it spin when machine fills with water from the mains supply. If its spinning, all good! Just replace clip. Bull nosed pliers on the pinched part and gently twist back and forth to open up the clip to remove.
