I have had the Flood Prevention warning on this dishwasher (Light No. 1 flashing).
Have had the panels off to see where the leak is coming from and basically, as soon as the pump operates ( I assume to circulate the water, not to fill the machine), the whole drum seems to leak - actually virtually gush water from the bottom.
Naturally, as soon as I witnessed this, I swithed the power off as it was soaking all sorts of electrical components.
This is the view from the Right Hand side of the machine, the water is coming from just behind, and above the black pipe,
And this is the view from the rear, the white pipe top left is what the black pipe in the 1st pic connects to, and it feeds the upper spray arm. The water is (I think) coming from the area around the white plastic Cone-shaped component at the centre of the picture (whatever it is!)
I'm guessing from the amount of water that this is fairly catastrophic and the whole appliance is badsically kaput. Anyone like to confirm or deny this?
Thanks,
Wilburr.
