Indesit IDL500

Hi,

Can anyone advise? I have an Indesit IDL500

i turn on dishwasher and you can hear water filling up and I can hear water pumping out as sink gurgling, but then 2 minutes in it stops and all you can hear is like a low clicking noise and then you open dish washer door and the elements are steaming up (sizzling) like kettle with no water in it.

Does anyone know what is happening
