I got a samsung lcd tv with freeview in loft,but not used it for ages,hence need aerial,i live about 9 miles from bluebell hill transmitter in kent,will a indoor plug in aerial work???

It will probably mostly work but could well have problems if people walk infront or someone tuns on a vacuum cleaner for example.
