Information on these please

What sort of info
Ones an rcd mainswitch, the other is a timer they work and are wired the same as the newer versions

RCCB = RCD

Phase in ............ Phase out
Neutral in .......... Neutral out

The timer is started by energising the solenoid which winds up the spring driven timer and closes the timed contact. When the solenoid is de-energised the timer starts to un-wind with the pendulum controlling the speed. When the timer unwinds completely the timed contact opens.

Several push buttons can be wired in parallel. The lights stay on as long as a button is pressed and then remain on for the selected time after the button is released.

These often buzz loudly while the button is pressed, especially those where the solenoid bolt is loose in the core due to wear. And the ticking as they time oue can be disconcerting to strangers in the building.

Above all it is an example of how things were done before electronics took the skill out of designing things.

Could anyone suggest a suitable staircase timer replacement.

I presumed I would find a Wall mounted version , they all seem to be din rail
Thanks
