What would people recommend for insulating the eves loft space in a twelve year old loft conversion.
The conversion has a dwarf wall which is insulated with celotex and then a boarded storage area.
Currently the eves joists (170mm) have approx 100mm of Vermiculite which stops in a sloped fashion about 300mm from the edge of the rafter supporting top plate.
The rooms below this area always are colder than rooms beneath the habitable area and I was wondering if increasing the insulation with 120 celotex in this area would be beneficial?
Thanks
