Just checked builders' screeded floor against highest point of floor on other side of room, and it's lower by 20 to 32mm , over about 18sq m. I plan to tile floor. New to all this, but on a budget, it looks to me that I'd need to pay a fortune on SLC to put this right.

New screed is bone dry now. Could I e.g. vacuum, prime (not PVA I understand), then screed the 20 to 32mm directly on top?

-and then try an SLC for the whole room at about 3mm?

Any help gratefully grabbed. Thanks.
