Hi
I've just been doing a shopping list with the plumber for my bathroom. I suggested the tails for taps which have the isolator valves on them. He said waste of money and that I don't need them.
Surely I need isolator valves, if not on the tails, shouldn't I at least have one on the copper pipe leading up to the tap?
His argument is that if I need to shut the water off, I simply turn my boiler off - is this correct?
