Kitchen/ Diner redesign

Hi, I am planning on redesign my kitchen, but have know idea how to layout the new kitchen / diner has anyone got any got tips ideas on how to go about this. I've attached a room plan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the big kitchen suppliers will do that for you for free just shop around try Magnet, Howdens through a reputable trades person and Ikea do cad designs in store stay away from nutters and people that seem to promise the earth they never do deliver,some people buy of the internet that would worry me for all the obvious reasons

Howdens is trade only,you might have to work through local trades person,but shop round them all for the best outcome they all want your money

The DIY stores do it too. Try several of them, as in any profession there are good and bad ones.

When I needed a design for my kitchen, the Homebase guy left a gap between the cabinets and suggested that I should find a local carpenter to make some shelves there. The designer from Wickes did a great job, persuaded me that some of the things I was considering were not that good really, took me around to showroom to explain what he mean, and the things he suggested were actually cheaper than the things I wanted.

you've missed the location of the services, particularly any 4" soil pipes which are difficult to move.

Thanks for your comments so far, i'll update the drawing and go into a few kitchen supplies and have a chat with them.
