I've just had a CH system installed with an Ariston ACO combi boiler. It was tested and commissioned last week. However, I am hearing failry loud knocking noises coming from the pipework under the timber upper floors expecially when the boiler first comes on. Then for the period the heating is on, there is slightly quieter knocking every few seconds which is very irrtating.
The plumber is coming to have a look next week, butwould be grateful if someone could give me advice in the meantime. trapped air or expanding/contracting pipes etc?
