This flat roof is on a kitchen extension from the mid 1990's. I have noticed three small mould patches close together recently which are at the opposite end of the skylight (north of it). I also have mould where a skylight is which has been there at least a year. I can't see any major issues from the bedroom window apart from obvious blistering of the felt. Some questions: Can a liquid rubber be applied to maintain it before a refelt? Can the skylight be resealed? Is it save to go on this type of roof after all these years? Many thanks.

I've had good results with coating old felted flat roofs with Bostik Flexacryl. You'd need to remove all the moss and mould from everywhere before using it of course. And if you spot any actual cracks in the felt, I would embed some decorators scrim in the Flexacryl to make the coating stronger.
As for getting onto a flat roof, I guess it depends how heavy you are... I've had no trouble on my old flat roof which dates from the mid 1980s, but I'm only about 11 stone.
If you do use Flexacryl, expect to re-coat it annually.
