Hi,

I had a brand new radiator fitted in my kitchen about six months ago and it has just started to leak.

It is not the valves, it is the radiator itself. It is one of the tall, thin designer types and the water appears to be coming from one of the side pipes and is dripping in between the pipe and the front of the radiator so I can't get to it.

Has anybody got any suggestions how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Was it a replacement on a dirty system for a rad doing the same thing?

Who fitted it?

Did they warn you about any problems with the system or dirty water?

Tony,

The rad is not a replacement for one doing the same thing. I had the old one removed and the pipes moved to the other side of the room.

A local plumber fitted it who didn't mention anything about dirty water.

Could this make the radiator leak?

Thanks.
