leaking washer

servis washing machine moidel m1635

washer is leaking from a pipe at the back. the pipe attaches to the bottom of the drum at the back, (father in law said is heater sensor ?????) the seal looks fine but looks like there used to be some sort if silicon on it, can i just seal it again with some heatproof silicon? the washer works fine but as the washing machine fills the water then leaks from this!
please help :( :evil: :?:

The stuff used to seal these is called Debor glue. It's very similar to evostick.
Clean all the old glue off first then refit the seal with new glue and finally fit the stat/sensor into the seal.

Unplug your appliance before working on it
