Anybody experienced with Legionella surveying.

Is a outside tap with 750mm pipe from inside kitchen refered to as a dead leg and requires flushing ?

If so what is the required flushing times ?

Thanks for your help

A schedule will need to be put in place and responsibility place upon someone to ensure that the "dead leg" is flushed on a regular basis.

There are no given time scales this is decided by the competent professional who carried out the survey.

Short answer is tap needs to be in regular use or isolated and drained (ie during winter when not in regular use)
