Lengthening shower fittings

I recently purchased a concealed shower kit. The valve is fine but the two shower fittings are causing us some issues. The thread part which goes through the wall isn't deep enough to go through the plaster, board and tiles. Is there a way to extend this?

You could find different shower attachments with longer threads.

Either way you can use this stuff to get the right angle. It locks tight the thread even if it's not made fully in.
