light switch earth wire ?

well firstly when the first question was answered it was about a metal back box and no one said what to do if plastic back box, so if u have nothing constructive to say dont bother at all

If its a plastic backbox AND a plastic switch, then park the green and yellow earth into a Terminal block, if more than one of these earths then they must all be joined in the same Terminal block

Metal backbox and plastic switch then connect green/yellow earths to the terminal on the metal box

If there was a link from the metal box to the old switch then this can be sealed off in a terminal block for future use, or the link bit removed providing the other earths are left still terminated to the metal back box

OK - here's something constructive:

PLEASE spend some time learning about electrical wiring etc - at the moment you are fiddling about with it when it is clear that you don't really know what you are doing.

Nobody is born knowing it - absolutely everybody has to learn, and you should too, because being ignorant is not conducive to being safe.
