i have installed a light switch and ceiling rose in my attic,cutting into the existing via junction box,the light is working fine,i wish to add another and im a bit unsure with the wiring, can anyone please advise

i have followed the diagrams included with no success,how does the last ceiling rose wire up/

If you simply want another light via the same switch then just extend the LNE from the existing light to the new one.

Then 2 x lights will work off the existing light switch.
 
thanks for the reply thats what i thought,but didnt work,ive got live,neutral/switched live and earth,how do they terminate in the last ceiling rose?

cheers chris,in the last ceiling rose i have put live to live and switched live to neutral,earth to earth,lamp is on permanant
 
You don't want the normal live at the second rose, you just want the switched live. Using the diagram above, just run a piece of two core and earth cable, with the red/brown in the 'Live' terminal, black/blue in the 'Neutral' terminal, and the earth in the earth terminal - that should sort it out...

If you're wanting two separately switched lights, then you just use the diagram and wire the cable to your next rose as the 'supply to next light' one is in the diagram...
