I have been instructed to use 80mm Celotex GA2000 under my rafters (in addition to 50mm) I cannot find GA2000. Is GA 4000 better. Can I use this instead?

Typo I reckon, ga4000 is celotex's general purpose middling thickness insulation. At the end of e day it's all the same stuff, polyisocyanurate, urethane or some overlooked derivative thereof and it's all approximately 0.022 U. Really the only choices you have to make are "do you want plasterboard glued to it for you" or "do you want class 0 fire rating"

Overwhelmingly in my cases I answer no/whatever the building inspector is happy with. It's cheaper to buy plasterboard separately, and I'm of the opinion that by the time a fire has raged so much that it's burnt through plasterboard and the class 0 fire rating one has paid a premium for is coming into play, the house is f***** (I.e. Rebuild required) and everyone inside is dead from smoke inhalation
