low water pressure switched

hi.
im new to the industry after 14 years in the navy. doing work for socail housing contractor to get experience. could someone be of help here.
combi boilers that have a low water pressure swtich will always have a corrosponding warning light on the boiler ie puma , ideal repsonse.?and thats the quickest way to tell if it does have a lwp switch inside( helps me speed up on faults

combis that dont have low water pressure switch will use the overheat stat to protect the boiler? correct?

Some combi's , do not have a low water pressure switch , as such , they use a primary flow switch , which sense's water flow , e.g pump run's , water present , flow switch make's ignition commence's ect ect , alot of the Biasi boiler's use this method , some of the Halstead's , Baxi , ect ect !!
