I have a two zone CH system and only the ground floor has thermostat. Top floor has TRVs. When I put both circuits on boost for an hour, an hour or two before the timed would switch it on, the ground floor does not go off again. It's likely that the space never reaches desired temperature, but an hour's boost is an hour's boost? To have it on all night is ridiculous and wasteful.

Thanks

Yes, I should have clarified, it's been repurposed just for the two ch circuits. The problematic ds uses the heating one and us uses hot water one

So when you press boost and the LP722 lights up, when the boost period has finished do the lights stay on in the LP722 or do they go out and the heating stays on ?

Just sussed what you are doing wrong, the LP722 doesnt have a boost button, it has an advance button they are not the same thing, say for arguments sake that it was set to go off at 17:00 and come back on at 6:00 and off at 8:00, if you press the advance at 18:00 it will stay on untill 8:00 next morning, some programmers have a boost function where they just come on for an hour but your has advance buttons, not the same thing

It has a boost and an advance button. Adv and bst. When is on boost it's b1 b2 or b3.. Depending how many hours you want.

So you'll see the bst on screen after you've chosen b123. It says adv if advance.

Just one button

So, advance to next programme change.

I thought you just pressed it. Do you mean yours tilts and works differently if you press the top or the bottom of the button?
Is the programmer switched to "fully pumped" on the back?

Is the next on an on or an off?

At what time is the following change?

I added "Is the programmer switched to "fully pumped" on the back?"

Also "Do you mean yours tilts and works differently if you press the top or the bottom of the button?"

I've never looked at back of programmer!

A quick press is advance, a longer press of button gives options of b123
